(APR 12, 2004) Mary Ann Owen of BILV, paid a visit to Richard Steele's boxing gym in Las Vegas, Nevada, today and caught up with several fighters!  Owen took some hot shots of the following boxers!

Jessica Rakoczy, was in the gym, training hard for her April 15th fight with Mia St. John that will take place at the Palace, in Lemoore, California.  Jessica said that she is ready, and excited about getting back into the ring.

Layla McCarter is preparing for her fight in Cleveland, Ohio, when she takes on Mary Jo Sanders in a scheduled six-rounder.

Rita Turissi, of Italy, who has relocated to Las Vegas, has made great progress in the sport, and is looking for fights. 

Lastly, there was Helga Risoy, a former boxer that is retired at this time but is a trainer and very active in the sport!
