Behind the Scenes with Kelli Cofer and Team!
(MAR 8) WBAN has just posted an extraordinary photo gallery #415
with 48 huge photos of “Behind the Scenes in Africa” when Cofer went
there with her team to fight on an all women’s card in December of
2006. Team Cofer told WBAN, “What a trip we had to Africa. 7
layovers, 4 flight changes and when we arrived in Nairobi we found
no luggage arriving with us. It took us 4 days to make the flight.
If anything could have gone wrong it did. For 2 days we spent hours
driving back and forth to the airport to get our luggage. In the
mean time we had press conferences, TV and radio interviews, private
interviews with sponsors, the mayor and everyone else that was
politically connected. We were treated like royalty, the facilities
were not lacking for anything.”
