Julaton and Mendez fight to a draw

(JULY 7) On Saturday night, at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada,  on the undercard featured a women's bout.  Johanna Mendez, now 3-0-1 (1KO), 119 lbs., who fights out of Houston, Texas, was four inches shorter than her opponent, Ana "The Hurricane" Julaton, 4-0-1 (1KO), 121 lbs. Menzer tagged taller opponent with uppercuts every time she bent over. Julaton backed up Mendez and kept pressing the fight even though Mendez kept countering her punches. Julaton sustain a deep cut over the right eye in the fifth round that was due to a headbutt.  The bout ended in a six-round draw.
