2003 - Puerto Colombia, Atlántico department, in Colombia
There were three women bout that was broadcasted on “Telecaribe.”
In a rematch for the two, Ana Pascal from Panamá retained
her Junior Welterweight WIBA world title by winning a 10-round
unanimous decision over Liliana Palmera from Colombia.
It was a competitive match, but the results were the same as the
first time that the two fought. Most thought that Pascal would
KO Liliana, but she fought with a lot of heart, and hung in
there. Liliana was knocked down to the canvas in the second
round, and later in the bout Pascal lost a point for a foul.
Pascal had won most of the 10 rounds. In the second women’s
match Luz Marina Sarabia, from Colombia, won by majority
decision over Damaris Pino, from Panamá in four-round
126-lb bout. It was a solid match, with Damaris gaining an
early lead, but with Sarabia winning the third and fourth round
decisively. In the third women’s match and rematch Junior
Welterweights Darys Pardo from Colombia won by TKO at
1:23 in the first round to Mónica Siris from Colombia.

Ana Pascal, 139, from Panama won by unanimous decision in a
rematch against the local fighter Darys Pardo, 138, in
an eight-rounder. This fight was the main event and was shown live
on television by the local channel TeleBarranquilla. The fight had
great national coverage and curiously two days before it, two important
T.V. programs had interviews with both fighters by using its full time
(half hour) on colombian national T.V. at the same time by the two most
important national Television channels Caracol and RCN.
