, 104.5,  won by an eight round split decision over Stephanie "All Action" Dobbs, 104.5. There were no knockdowns in the fight, and a third time for the two to fight each other. The two were fighting for the Vacant WEBA Strawweight title. Final scoring was 78-74 for Dobbs, and 77-75 (twice for Goodson).

The current IFBA  Minimumweight Champion Vicious Vaia Zaganas, 14-2, 6 KO's continued on her current win streak of five, with a win over Sarah Goodson, 8-14, 2 KO's via a six round unanimous decision, with final judges scoring of 60-54.   Zaganas may be one of the busiest women fighters out there today, with ten fights this year.  Casey Dansicker her manager, said, "Vaia loves to fight, gets better each time out, and we are looking to face all of the big names in her weight class today."  Report by "Bad" Brad Berkwitt

July 25, 2003 - Tulsa Creek Nation Gaming Center, in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Vaia "Vicious" Zaganas won by a unanimous decision over Sarah Goodson in a rematch for the two in a scheduled six-rounder.  An Insider at the fight reported that Zaganas won every round, and that 'Zaganas came close to matching Roy Jones' record against Pazienza for an opponent not landing a single punch in a round.' The insider did report that Goodson was "game" but she did not have an answer for Vaia's boxing style.  Final Scoring was 60-54, 60-54, and 59-55.

June 28, 2003 - Farmers Market, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Flyweight Hollie Dunaway, 113, won a four-round unanimous decision over Alejandra Lopez, 114. In another women's match, Flyweight Sarah Jones-Goodson,114 defeated Nikki Verbeck, 106, in a four-rounder by a unanimous decision. These two just fought two weeks ago with the same results.  Verbeck is now 0-6-0 as a boxer.

June 14, 2003 - World Class Fitness Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas
Sarah Goodson won a four-round decision over Nikki Verbeck of Paris, Arkansas, in a scheduled four-round strawweight bout.  Goodson is now 6-13-1. Verbeck remains winless at  0-5-0 (0KO). Melissa Shaffer, Van Buren, Arkansas won a four-round unanimous decision over Gina Abel. Shaffer remains undefeated with at 7-0-0 (4 KO). Abel fell to  0-4-0 (0 KO).  Apparently this area is a harvest for building boxing records with little competition. All were strawweights, and yet the boxers who were winless did not fight each other....hmmm

May 7, 2002, in Little Rock, Arkansas
Patricia Demick, 138, won a controversial six-round split decision over Brenda Bell-Drexel, 142. On the other women's bout, Melissa Shaffer, had an exhibition with Sara Goodson.  Goodson was considered the winner  in the exhibition.

March 1, 2002 in Fort Smith, Arkansas
Junior strawweight Sarah Goodson  won a four-round unanimous decision over Stephanie Dobbs of Moore, Oklahoma.  Goodson improved her record to 4-10-0 (2 KO).

April 28, 2000- Austin, Texas
Jay Vega
of Austin, Texas, won her pro debut with a four-round unanimous decision over Sarah Goodson of Arkansas. Goodson slipped to 0-8-1. Another fighter that needs to re-evaluate why she is in boxing, with no wins and eight losses.
