There were no knockdowns in the fight, and a third time for the two to fight
each other. The two were fighting for the Vacant WEBA Strawweight title. Final scoring was 78-74 for Dobbs, and 77-75 (twice for Goodson).

Zaganas, 14-2, 6 KO's continued on her current win streak
of five, with a win over Sarah Goodson, 8-14, 2 KO's
via a six round unanimous decision, with final judges scoring
of 60-54. Zaganas may be one of the busiest women fighters
out there today, with ten fights this year. Casey Dansicker
her manager, said, "Vaia loves to fight, gets better each time
out, and we are looking to face all of the big names in her

Vaia "Vicious" Zaganas won by a unanimous decision over
Sarah Goodson in a rematch for the two in a scheduled
six-rounder. An Insider at the fight reported that
Zaganas won every round, and that 'Zaganas came close to
matching Roy Jones' record against Pazienza for an opponent
not landing a single punch in a round.' The insider did report
that Goodson was "game" but she did not have an answer for
Vaia's boxing style. Final
Scoring was 60-54, 60-54, and 59-55.

Flyweight Hollie Dunaway, 113, won a four-round unanimous
decision over Alejandra Lopez, 114. In another women's match,
Flyweight Sarah Jones-Goodson,114 defeated Nikki Verbeck, 106,
in a four-rounder by a unanimous decision. These two just fought two weeks
ago with the same results. Verbeck is now 0-6-0 as a boxer.

Goodson is now 6-13-1. Verbeck remains winless at 0-5-0 (0KO).
Melissa Shaffer, Van Buren, Arkansas won a four-round unanimous
decision over Gina Abel. Shaffer remains undefeated with at 7-0-0
(4 KO). Abel fell to 0-4-0 (0 KO). Apparently this area is a
harvest for building boxing records with little competition. All were
strawweights, and yet the boxers who were winless did not fight each
other....hmmm

Patricia Demick, 138, won a controversial six-round split
decision over Brenda Bell-Drexel, 142. On the other women's
bout, Melissa Shaffer, had an exhibition with Sara Goodson.
Goodson was considered the winner in the exhibition.

Junior strawweight Sarah Goodson won a four-round unanimous decision

that needs to re-evaluate why she is in boxing, with
no wins and eight losses. Another women's bout, Lori
Lord, of Austin improved her record to 5-1 with a
third-round TKO over Susan Nance. Nance has
dropped to 1-1.
