Mary Lehman, 118 1/4, won a four-round unanimous
decision over Rita
Valentini, 118 1/4, in a rematch. The first
time these two fought was January 31, 2003, which resulted in a majority
decision. In this fight it was considered by many to be the
“fight of the night” and was a toe-to-toe battle
between these two. Unlike the first time Lehman fought
Rita, where Rita used her movement and boxing skills---this time
around she came to brawl! In the opening round, Rita came in rushing at Lehman rocked Lehman.
but Lehman had a answer to Rita's attack and came out the winner.
Final Scoring was 40-36, 40-36, 39-37. Lehman is now
5-0-0, and Rita fell to 2-3.

Mary Lehman defeated with a majority decision over Rita
Valentini in a scheduled 119-lb four round bout. Final scoring was
38-38, 37-39, and 36-40. Lehman is now 4-0-0 (0KO), and Valentini is
2-2-0 (1KO).
January 16, 2003

Mary Lehman fought and
defeated with a unanimous decision over Kim Reed in a rematch, at
120-lb in a four rounder. The event was promoted by Steel Glove
Promotions, and was held at "4th & B" in San Diego,
California. Reed had taken the fight at last minute when a match with
Crystal Hoy of Las Vegas fell through. Reed got a cut during this four
rounder and had to receive stitches after the fight. Final judges scores
was 35-40, 35-40, and 36-39.
July 25, 2002 - Fiesta Hall, in Imperial Beach,
California
Attorney Mary Lehman won her second professional bout in a slugfest
against Kimberly Reed with a unanimous decision. The fight was
stopped in the 4th round after there was an accidental headbutt
that caused a cut on Lehman that required eleven stitches. WBAN asked Lehman to give her perspective as a new boxer on the scene
and about her insight into this second professional bout she had with

California
At the Scottish Rite Center, in San Diego, California, and promoted
by Worldwide Boxing Promotions, Mary Lehman, 38, won a
four-round majority decision over Annalisa Middleton of
Oxnard. The San Diego-Union Tribune reported that after the fight,
Lehman announced, "I’m a fighter. I’ve always been a
fighter, but I never had an opportunity to be my true self."
WBAN congratulates Lehman for her first win. Lehman has worked very
hard to get to the point of turning pro. She has been boxing for
three years, while being a practicing Civil Attorney, and wife and
mother of two twin girls.
